To ask the Manager what the situation is in relation to the erection of Dog fouling signs in the Clondalkin area? A number of residents groups have wanted them for their estates. Have many signs been erected?
REPLY:
The Council conducted a pilot scheme through the Social Credits system from Sept 2013 to March 2014, whereby residents could download anti dog fouling signs and erect them in their local area based on a number of conditions.
21 expressions of interest were received and 6 agreement forms returned and signs issued. 2 were from the Clondalkin area

To erect anti dog fouling signs residents are
Agreement on location in advance – photographs of possible sites to be provided.
Suggested location of signs
Signs must be removed
