That this Committee expresses its disgust with the ongoing theft and burning of plastic bins in the area under its remit; that a report on any statistics or reports of these thefts and burnings be presented to the Committee; that the legislation and bye-laws applying to this be outlined; and that all local Garda stations be written to detailing this motion, if passed.

That this Committee, while acknowledging the excellent work carried out by the LitterWardens and Cleansing Crews in all areas of the County, and in particular in Tallaght, calls on the Manager to redouble efforts to investigate and prevent flytipping, particularly in the Bishops field in Tymon North and the surrounding areas and to give consideration to increasing fines for littering.

That this Committee expresses its frustration at the delay in the renovation works at Tallaght Fire Station, and calls on Dublin City Council and the Department of the Environment to liaise with those working at the station to ensure these renovations are delivered speedily and in line with the expectations of firefighters based at the station.

"Would the Manager make a report regarding what action, if any, he intends to take regarding my motion last month on the need for urgent maintenance to be carried out on the junction of the footpaths at the rear of Castletymon Library. The tarmac is eroded, constantly flooded and full of mud and is placing pedestrians at risk of slipping or falling while using this area, which is the only access to Castletymon Shopping Centre from the St Aongus and Tymon North estates?"

That this Committee calls on the Manager to address this issue as a matter of urgency. The walkway between Rossmore Crescent and Rossmore Lawns  (beside St Michaels house) is overgrown with moss and grass. This area is used as a short cut by the clients in St Michaels and their carers and is presenting a serious health and safety risk to their well being. Could you please arrange to have it cleaned up as soon as possible.
