"To ask the Manager gives an overview of the scale of illegal dumping in the Tallaght area, indicating the tonnage, nature of this waste, time taken to clear it and the rate of enforcement being achieved?"
"To ask this Committee supports the removal of the "Libertas" political poster at the top of "The Dip" near Greenpark on the Greenhills Road; and that the Council contact the "Libertas" organisation to ensure they bear the brunt of any costs or fines for this poster and cable ties nearby remaining in place."

That this Committee expresses its disgust with the ongoing theft and burning of plastic bins in the area under its remit; that a report on any statistics or reports of these thefts and burnings be presented to the Committee; that the legislation and bye-laws applying to this be outlined; and that all local Garda stations be written to detailing this motion, if passed.
That the Manager reviews the condition of the public realm on the Brookfield Road and arranges without delay to carry out any upgrading necessary to bring it to a standard that would be acceptable in any other part of the county.
This Committee congratulates all involved with the Tidy Towns initiative to date and asks for a report on the areas where there is currently an active Tidy Towns group, and where plans exist to establish groups in the future.
That the Manager prepares a report to indicate the cleansing system in place for cycle lanes within the Tallaght area.
Would the Manager make a report regarding the derelict site on Mayberry Road, Kilnamanagh and would he indicate if the comprehensive report on the site has been carried out and what action does he intend to take next, regarding the condition of the site
That this Committee, while acknowledging the excellent work carried out by the LitterWardens and Cleansing Crews in all areas of the County, and in particular in Tallaght, calls on the Manager to redouble efforts to investigate and prevent flytipping, particularly in the Bishops field in Tymon North and the surrounding areas and to give consideration to increasing fines for littering.
That this Committee expresses its frustration at the delay in the renovation works at Tallaght Fire Station, and calls on Dublin City Council and the Department of the Environment to liaise with those working at the station to ensure these renovations are delivered speedily and in line with the expectations of firefighters based at the station.

"Would the Manager make a report regarding what action, if any, he intends to take regarding my motion last month on the need for urgent maintenance to be carried out on the junction of the footpaths at the rear of Castletymon Library. The tarmac is eroded, constantly flooded and full of mud and is placing pedestrians at risk of slipping or falling while using this area, which is the only access to Castletymon Shopping Centre from the St Aongus and Tymon North estates?"
"To ask the Manager, in light of recent concerns expressed by students of Tallaght IT who were doing exams there, to investigate the public lighting available in the vicinity of the National Basketball Arena, to state if improvements can be made, and to make a statement on the matter?"
"To ask the Manager to report on the infestation of Japanese knotweed in the area under the remit of this Committee, in particular in Tymon Park, where it has been noted near the Greenpark end of the park for some time?"

Would the Council provide a cleaning schedule regarding Beechfield Park Dublin 12 and Greentrees Park Dublin 12? Would the Council accept the urgent need to clean the bushes in the two parks and to get rid of the rubbish that has been there for a long time? When will these duties be carrried out? "

That the Manager outlines the timeframe for the delivery of a new all-weather facility in Jobstown Park following the award of €300,000 to South Dublin Leisure Services by way of a Sports Capital Grant and to further comment with respect to the possiblity of providing the adjacent skatepark as discussed previously.
That this Committee calls on the Manager to address this issue as a matter of urgency. The walkway between Rossmore Crescent and Rossmore Lawns (beside St Michaels house) is overgrown with moss and grass. This area is used as a short cut by the clients in St Michaels and their carers and is presenting a serious health and safety risk to their well being. Could you please arrange to have it cleaned up as soon as possible.
