QUESTION: Councillor M. Duff

"Would the Manager make a report regarding what action, if any, he intends to take regarding my motion last month on the need for urgent maintenance to be carried out on the junction of the footpaths at the rear of Castletymon Library. The tarmac is eroded, constantly flooded and full of mud and is placing pedestrians at risk of slipping or falling while using this area, which is the only access to Castletymon Shopping Centre from the St Aongus and Tymon North estates?"

REPLY:

The Council will undertake remedial work in this area to remove the water ponding and to remover other obstructions to safe pedestrian movement.
