That the Manager re-examines the walls and security around Knockmitten Community Centre with a view to undertaking the following:-

a)  Putting a railing on top of the stub wall in front of the building's car park so that it cannot be used as seating for drinks parties.

b)  Re-organise the CCTV so that it covers both the building, the car park and surrounding areas.

That the Manager outlines all the work and development planned for the Nangor Road and the land on both sides of it (from the Outer Ring Road to Polly Hops Pub) with timescales, where possible, for the foreseeable future.

That that the Parks Department tidy or reduce the size of the green strip on the pavement at Boot Road, Clondalkin as it is in a most unsightly condition due to the parking of cars on these grass verges.

That this Committee agrees to ask the County Manager to invest in a pilot plan for providing a concierge service for our three storey apartments. Many tenants feel very vulnerable, particularly those living in ground floor apartments.

That the Manager would request the Roads Department, in consultation with the Contractors and An Garda Síochana, to re-examine the arrangements for traffic management on the Outer ring Road between the Eurospar Centre and the N4 at Woodies, Lucan, with particular regard to ensuring the safety of pedestrians, including children.

That the Manager would present a detailed Report for discussion on his proposals to remove heavy goods vehicles from Lucan Village. The increase in the volume of trucks in Lucan Village is the cause of serious concern to the Lucan Community on grounds of safety of residents, including many school-going children and parents, and also arising from the cause of increased traffic congestion and consequential inconvenience.
