That the Architects Department explain in detail the rationale behind the lack of pedestrian access and egress in the McUlliam Estate, that he acknowledges that there is a serious problem at this location currently and explains how going forward he proposes to address this.

This Council Committee calls on the manager to give a report  on the potential impact including cost to this Council on the introduction BER ( building energy regulation) for the Tallaght area, the buildings potentially  effected by this legislation and the overall potential cost  for this Council of the prosposed changes.

That urgent and effective action be taken to deal with the ongoing harassment of residents of Daletree, continuous dumping of refuse in the immediate vicinity, anti-social behaviour emanating from certain families resident nearby, vandalising of residents cars, cars being burned out, and, given that these problems have been evident for the past 2 years, this Committee requests the Manager to adopt a strong and co-ordinated approach, in conjunction with the Gardai, in an effort to provide residents with a quality of life to which they are entitled and which they currently do not enjoy due to the actions of a few.
