JUNK COLLECTIONS IN RAPID AREAS
REPLY:
Following an examination of the junk collection service by the Environment SPC in 2005 the provision of the service to RAPID areas once in every two years commenced in 2006. It was decided that the Jobstown and Brookfield RAPID areas would be grouped together for this purpose, while the Killenarden and North Clondalkin areas would also be grouped.

It should be noted that all estates due to receive a collection in 2008 on the two year rota were in fact provided the service. It should also be noted that a number of estates not due to receive a service until 2009 were also provided a service in 2008.
