"That this Committee calls on the Manager, to write to the Department of Education and Science and the Minister for Education personally to express this Committees complete dissatisfaction with the fact that we are waiting for a response regarding the identification of a site for Scoil Cáitlín Maude in Knockmore since a motion in my name was passed in June of 2007 and that we find it unacceptable that the pupils and staff of the School and the Staff and elected representatives of this Council continue to be ignored despite the many reminder letters that have been sent to the Department regarding the request by the administration staff of this Committee".

βTo ask the Manager if an additional public light can be installed on the pedestrian walkway at the top of Parkhill Lawns which allows residents in Kilnamanagh to access the Luas on the Embankment Road and while two lights are in operation on this pedestrian walkway, if an additional light can be considered at this time, given the fact that the public lighting to date is not sufficient, and is rather dim, and as a means of improving visibility along this very busy walkway, that this request could be acceded to as soon as possible, and if he will make a statement on the matter?β
