"That this Area Committee agrees to use the powers invested in it under the Derelict Sites Act (1990) to carry out the following works to two buildings in Clondalkin and subsequently charge the costs incurred to the building owners or put an order for the retrieval of the costs upon the sale of the properties : (i) Remove the ivy from the roof of the Old RIC Barracks aka Riverside (D22 KT20) on the Old Nangor Road and (ii) fix the broken slate on the roof of the cottage on Main St (D22 KN29)."

"That this Area Committee request a report on Mount St. Joseph that includes plans for the repairing of headstones, inner gate lock replacement and to also ask can South Dublin County Council repair the 'Carmelite tablet'. Also look at the need for signage for visitors to view - (old pics of Monastery before and history). The bicentenary of the first burial in the Graveyard is on the 19th June 2022 and to ask the Chief Executive will he consult with the Clondalkin Tidy Towns and the Joe Williams archive group on above issues?"

"That this Committee support The Irish Lung Fibrosis Association that provides research, education and support for lung fibrosis patients and their families in Ireland. They are looking for some storage space locally or near to Clondalkin. Storage is mainly for leaflets (paper)/ information that is provided to patients on their diagnosis and to the healthcare professionals in hospitals who look after those patients. We ask that South Dublin County Council look at what supports they may be able to provide to assist this work and look at providing community support to them."

"That this Area Committee calls on the Minister for Justice to work with the Garda Commissioner in the allocation of resources to make Rathcoole Garda Station a 24 Hour fully resources station that serves the people of Rathcoole, Newcastle and Saggart current and future populations. These 3 areas are among the fastest growing and the elected members support the areas in their call for a 24-Hour station with allocated resources to combat all the issues they are experiencing - We commit to sending this motion to the Minister for Justice, the Garda Commissioner, and the local Superintendent."
