"That this Committee support The Irish Lung Fibrosis Association that provides research, education and support for lung fibrosis patients and their families in Ireland. They are looking for some storage space locally or near to Clondalkin. Storage is mainly for leaflets (paper)/ information that is provided to patients on their diagnosis and to the healthcare professionals in hospitals who look after those patients. We ask that South Dublin County Council look at what supports they may be able to provide to assist this work and look at providing community support to them."

REPORT:

The Community Department acknowledges this request for storage space for this specific organisation in the county.  There may be alternative options for private storage rental in community buildings or with private storage suppliers but the local authority is not in a position to facilitate this request within SDCC properties at this time.
