MOTION: Councillor Eoin Ó Broin

"That this Area Committee receives clarification on the roles and responsibilities of South Dublin County Council with regard to apartments they own in Rathgael in Deansrath."

REPLY

There are 3 units in this development which are owned and maintained by the Council, in addition annual fees are paid for the upkeep of internal and communal areas to the management company. There are also 8 units with long term lease arrangements, these are privately owned units with social housing tenants in-situ.

The Council’s Estate Management obligations are to ensure that all our tenants are adhering to their tenancy agreement and that any breaches of tenancy or complaints received are fully investigated and dealt with in accordance with our Anti-Social Behaviour Policy.
