MOTION: Councillor S. O'Hara

"That this Area Committee request that the controversial road signs in Saggart Village be removed as they are creating confusion."

REPORT:

The 2 signs attached are believed to be misleading.  It is agreed that these 2no. signs should be taken down and replaced by the correct signs.

It is the Traffic sections belief that the Millbridge Embankment sign should be replaced with "Saggart Village Crossroads" and Garter Lane to be replaced with Main Street as per the Government road name database.
