That this Committee welcomes the progress made in recent months on the Clondalkin Equine Project. In order to progress this project further this Committee urges the Chief Executive to consider locating the project on a portion of the lands adjacent to the R136 and the upper Nangor Road.
That the Chief Executive provides a report on litter activity in the Baldonnell area and details on how this on going problem can be addresses

Questions
To ask the Chief Executive to please clarify the position with regard to the Park bye laws which would be relevant to addressing the problem of scramblers and quad bikes being driven in our parks. Is the use of such vehicles in contravention of the park bye laws?
Can you confirm whether Gardaí have the authority to pursue those riding such vehicles and to seize those vehicles?
What plans are in place to address this problem which is spoiling the enjoyment of our parks and posing a risk to safety for the public and for staff.
To ask that the Chief Executive provides an updated tree pruning / removal list and highlights the additions recommended by Councillors since the September Clondalkin Area Committee?
To ask the Chief Executive to put forward a sustainable plan for Corcaigh Fisheries and to give an update at where the future of the Fisheries is at?
To ask the Chief Executive to present a report on how the issues of quads and bikes in North Clondalkin can be dealt with, especially in public green spaces and that the Guards also be written to be made aware of this worrying local problem.

This Committee welcomes the ongoing support by SDCC provided to Knockmitten United FC in their efforts to develop an astro turf pitch in Knockmitten Park. This Committee supports the request by Knockmitten United FC for a long term lease from the Council on the old basketball court beside Knockmitten Community Centre.
''That this Committee calls on SDCC for a review of all bins in the Clondalkin area and that bins be placed at all Bus stops and in strategic place in order to keep Clondalkin area a tidier place and in order to maximise their usage''
That this Committee commends the work that has been done on the roundabouts on the Neilstown Road. Could an outline be given of the plans for them in terms of planting and weeding and maintenance for the coming year.
That this Committee recommends that the development of a park in Newcastle be prioritised by the Council.

To ask the Chief Executive what steps are being taken to address the problem of so called joyriding which seems to be re appearing in the Clondalkin area? Allied to this is the problem of scramblers or quads being driven on the roads in parts of the Clondalkin area by uninsured and under age drivers. These illegal activities are serious threat to safety of residents in the affected areas and are causing much distress.
To ask the Chief Executive to provide a report on installed and proposed locations for flashing speed reading signs in the Clondalkin LEA?

That the Chief Executive presents a report for discussion at the Committee outlining options and costs for the provision of additional car parking for residents in Boot Rd/Rockfield Drive estate.
That the Chief Executive present a report on the operation of the school warden scheme in the Clondalkin area. I am aware of one challenging location that is without a warden since September and I believe that there are similar issues elsewhere.
That this Committee agrees to write to Dublin Bus requesting the erection of a shelter (without side panels) and/or a real time electronic timetable at the bus stop outside Tescos in Clondalkin village.
