That this Committee agrees that the Council write to the major mobile phone providers (Vodafone, O2, Meteor, Three, Tesco, 48 Months) asking that they expand the quality of their network coverage in Newcastle, Rathcoole, Saggart & Brittas.

That this Committee welcomes the progress made in recent months on the Clondalkin Equine Project. In order to progress this project further this Committee urges the Chief Executive to consider locating the project on a portion of the lands adjacent to the R136 and the upper Nangor Road.

That the Chief Executive provides a report on litter activity in the Baldonnell area and details on how this on going problem can be addresses

To ask the Chief Executive to please clarify the position with regard to the Park bye laws which would be relevant to addressing the problem of scramblers and quad bikes being driven in our parks.  Is the use of such vehicles in contravention of the park bye laws?

Can you confirm whether Gardaí have the authority to pursue those riding such vehicles and to seize those vehicles?

What plans are in place to address this problem which is spoiling the enjoyment of our parks and posing a risk to safety for the public and for staff.

To ask that the Chief Executive provides an updated tree pruning / removal list and highlights the additions recommended by Councillors since the September Clondalkin Area Committee?

This Committee welcomes the ongoing support by SDCC provided to Knockmitten United FC in their efforts to develop an astro turf pitch in Knockmitten Park. This Committee  supports the request by Knockmitten United FC for a long term lease from the Council on the old basketball court beside Knockmitten Community Centre.

''That this Committee calls on SDCC for a review of all bins in the Clondalkin area and that bins be placed at all Bus stops and in strategic place in order to keep Clondalkin area a tidier place and in order to maximise their usage''

That this Committee commends the work that has been done on the roundabouts on the Neilstown Road.  Could an outline be given of the plans for them in terms of planting and weeding and maintenance for the coming year.

That SDCC meet the request of Clondalkin Tidy Towns to have access to the Camac River at Clondalkin (An access gate kept locked) and are supported in carrying out vital heritage work to this area.

To ask that the Chief Executive provide a report on 2014 vacant houses , what was the time line house became vacant and became re used? How many houses currently lie vacant and what are the envisaged time line for each of these to become useable housing units?

''That this Area Committee calls on SDCC to provide electricity for St Marks Community Garden that would allow for further development of this vital community space. The Garden could also be used by North Clondalkin Tidy Towns and Local Men. Also that St Marks Community Garden should be written to and congratulated on the wonderful Christmas garden and Christmas event they held for the community. ''

That the Chief Executive provides an update on investigations and actions taken to halt unauthorised development activity at Windmill Hill, Rathcoole.

To ask the Chief Executive what steps are being taken to address the problem of so called joyriding which seems to be re appearing in the Clondalkin area?  Allied to this is the problem of scramblers or quads being driven on the roads in parts of the Clondalkin area by uninsured and under age drivers.  These illegal activities are serious threat to safety of residents in the affected areas and are causing much distress.

That the Chief Executive present a report on the operation of the school warden scheme in the Clondalkin area.  I am aware of one challenging  location that is without a warden since September and I believe that there are similar issues elsewhere.
