To ask the Chief Executive for a list of grants available to sporting clubs?

REPLY:

South Dublin County Sports Partnership provides a small level of grant assistance to sports clubs. In 2014 this amounted to approx. €5,000 to 10 clubs and 1 school. This sum doesn't include the support provided to bring Parkrun to Tymon Park and Waterstown Park or to develop permanent orienteering courses in the parks. Grant support is for minor equipment, coach leadership training and administration support. The Sports Partnership does not support individuals regardless of ability and  does not support travel to events, accomodation costs etc. 
The  Community Grants Scheme also has categories under which sports clubs can apply.
