To ask the Manager if he will provide the figures for the number of applications and the number of grants provided for 2011, 2012 and 2013 in the Clondalkin Electoral Area under the 3 Housing Grants Schemes for older people, people with disability/health problems and Mobility Grants?
To ask the Manager to bring forward a report to the December Clondalkin Area Committee detailing all the potential infill housing sites in North Clondalkin ranging from single unit infill sites to 20 unit infill housing sites?
To ask the Manager for an update on Nos 2 and 4 Lealand Walk.
To ask the Manager to provide a detailed report on ongoing efforts to address anti social behaviour in Balgaddy including the number of reported incidents of anti social behaviour per month for the last 2 years; the number of house visits by staff from the anti social response unit; and a list of all action being taken by SDCC or in conjunction with other agencies to address specific incidents of anti social behaviour and the more general community wide impact of anti social behaviour.

- the number of reports of illegal dumping by the public in 2012 and 2013
- the volume of waste collected in 2012 and 2013
- the cost to the Council arising from illegal dumping in 2012 and 2013
- the number of prosecutions for illegal dumping in 2012 and 2013
- a list of strategies or plans to deal with illegal dumping in 2013 and 2014
- a list of what information is collated by the Council on the issue of illegal dumping and a copy of this information as it related to the Clondalkin LEA?

This Committee calls on the Manager to pursue the owners of two sites on the Ninth Lock Road, the CB packaging site and the ESB sub station, under section 23 of the Litter Act as there is litter clearly visible from the road.
That this Committee requests that more litter bins are installed in the Main St/Monastery Road area which has a very high concentration of take away outlets
That the Manager agrees to install a number of water-butts at the Clondalkin Civic Offices and throughout the Clondalkin area to address the lack of water for plants recently installed by the Clondalkin Tidy Towns.
This Committee request that a site meeting be held at Dunawley Estate to ascertain the continuing complaints from residents re rubbish in back gardens causing vermin.

That this Committee requests the Manager to present a report on the provision of Taxi ranks in the Clondalkin village area.
In light of the significant work carried out by volunteers of the St Marks Community Garden and the hugely positive impact of this project on an area that was previously a hot spot for illegal dumping an anti social behaviour the Clondalkin Area Committee calls on the Manager to support this valuable project by providing a wheelchair accessible ramp at the entrance to the garden and a small amount of concrete slabs & paving inside the garden the purpose of which is to further enhance this important local amenity.
That this Committee calls for the markings (Yellow box) at St. Patricks Road and Cappaghmore be reinstated to allow residents to gain access on to Ninth Lock Road.
In light of the high level of anti social behaviour and poor state of the roads, paths and bollards at the junction of St Marks Avenue and Grove the Clondalkin Area Committee calls on the Manager to bring forward a plan to deal with the following problems:
- repair or replacement of the bollards at this junction
- repair damage to the road and path surface at both sides of the junction
The plan, which should involve consultation with those residents who live immediately at the junction, should also explore possibility of enhanced street lighting at the junction.

This Committee calls for a report on St. Cuthberts (ruined) Church in view of the link with St. Cuthberts Cathedral at Durham and in view of the historical visit of St. Cuthbert to this part of Clondalkin many centuries ago. This site was fenced off to stop trespass some years ago however we should try and have this historical site saved.

This Committee calls on the Manager to ensure that that the Quarryvale Family Resource Centre is supported through it's current difficulties in relation to it's premises and enabled to continue with it's valuable work in the Quarryvale area.
That this Committee supports development of a scheme to facilitate the transfer of small portions of Council lands that;
- Have become hot spots for illegal dumping
- Have become hot spots for anti social behaviour
- Have become badly overgrown with trees & shrubs
- Are no longer accessible to Council staff or the general public
- Have little or no commercial value
The scheme could include an opinion from estate management on the issues outlined above with respect to a specific piece of land; a commitment from the applicant to cover the costs of any construction work arising from the transfer; a commitment from the council to dispose of the land for a nominal fee and to waive legal costs.

In order to increase levels of electoral registration in advance of the November 25th deadline the Clondalkin Area Committee recommends that the Manager take the following actions:
- provide electoral registration forms to all community centres, social awlfare offices, HSE health centres, the post office, the social welfare office and other relevant public offices in the Clondalkin LEA
- engage principals of secondary schools, youth services and youth advocacy organisations in the Clondalkin LEA to encourage 18 year olds to register
- engage community organisations in those areas with lower levels of registration and electoral participation with a view to implementing a plan to increase voter registration in these areas
- discuss with Councillors other possible ideas that could, within the short timeframe allowed, increase voter registration.
