That this Committee requests the Manager to present a report on the provision of Taxi ranks in the Clondalkin village area.

REPORT:

A Movement Framework Plan for Clondalkin Village is being undertaken by the Council planning department by way of grant from the National Transport Authority. The Consulting Engineers have been appointed and the report is being developed. The public transport element includes the provision of facilities for taxi services within the village. A report is expected to be available before summer 2014. The holistic nature of this study will give a strong basis for the most appropriate taxi rank solution.
