QUESTION: Councillor E. Ó'Broin

To ask the Manager to provide a report on all road and path upgrades and repairs planned for the Clondalkin LEA, with timelines for commencement and completion, for the remainder of 2013 and for 2014 including works currently underway but yet to be completed?

REPLY:

Road overlays were carried out in 2013 under the Restoration Improvement programme in Ninth Lock Road, Fonthill Road North, Knockmitten Lane, Stoney Lane and College Lane. Works were carried out in 2013 under the Restoration Maintenance programme in Deansrath Avenue, Castlewarden road, Glenfield Estate, Moorfield Drive, Willow Court Grove and Avenue, Oakcourt Grove,

Footpath upgrades have been carried out in the Clondalkin Area in 2013 in St. Marks Estate, Pairc Mhuire (Saggart), Shancastle Estate and Neilstown Road at Harelawn. Works are complete with the exception of St Marks Drive where works are ongoing and will be completed in November 2013.

The 2014 Roadworks Programme is currently being compiled and will be presented to the Members shortly for approval.
