That this Committee asks the Manager to outline the usage of the fishing lakes in Corkagh Park. The lakes were closed for renovation, however, no new works have taken place. Can the Manager clarify this situation? The tender for the fishing lakes states that the lakes must be open when the park is, can the Manager outline why this was not the case. Does the Manager think the lakes will be open this time next year?
That this Committee addresses the issue of illegal dumping on the back roads of Newcastle - such as between the Lucan Newlands Road and Aylmer Road and the road from Grange Castle up towards Newcastle.
That the Manager reports on a plan and timeframe for works as per the motion listed below which was agreed and approved in September 2010

That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for the extension of the wall (upwards) to the rear of the houses in the vicinity of 277 Cushlawn Park and backing on to the apartments at Cushlawn Dale as residents are experiencing ongoing problems with elements gaining access to their homes as a result of the wall being very low on the Cushlawn Dale side.
That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for the installation of railings on the stub wall at the end of Knockmore Drive in the vicinity of 28 Knockmore Drive to discourage youths from sitting on the stub wall and dumping on the green space adjacent.
