QUESTION: Councillor C. Jones

To ask the manager if assistance is available to source a Lucan venue to hold the South Asian Cultural Festival (Meena Bazaar) in June this year as the organisers have had difficulty finding a venue that would allow them to prepare food for the festival?

REPLY:

Contact will be made with the group to provide assistance as required. The third annual Lucan Festival will be held in September, culminating in a Family Day on Sunday 25th. Consideration should be given by all groups in the Lucan area to supporting this major event.
