That this Committee acknowledges the hard work and effort of the Little Monsters Youth Club in Jobstown in organising and staging the "Pride of Jobstown" event, that we acknowledge the strong and progressive leadership displayed by their participation in and creation of this event and support the possibility of encouraging similar events throughout the Tallaght area.
That this Committee commends the staff and officials of the Council on their efforts in organising the St. Patrick's Day celebrations in Tallaght Stadium, and that the Manager presents a report highlighting the positives of the event and the challenges for future events.

That this Committee calls on the Manager to provide a detailed report on the future of the ongoing Cushlawn refurbishment programme stating (A) how many of the original houses have not been refurbished, (B) have the remaining houses been inspected to ascertain what works are necessary, (C) How much will these works cost, (D) where is the funding coming from and (E) When are the remaining works due to commence and be completed.
That the Manager provides a status report to this Committee on the matter of unmaintained and unsupervised open space to the rear and side of houses in Kilmartin Estate in Fettercairn.
That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for the immediate re-planting of the limited green space at Kiltalown Green/Crescent/Heights which was expected to be planted with grass to a high standard after the infill development in the area was completed.

"To ask the Manager to ensure prompt and regular fortnightly cleansing of main roads within the remit of the West Tallaght study area, given the regular littering of theses roads and the slow response to cleansing due to resource restrictions which should now be alleviated through the redeployment of former waste collection staff?"
"To ask the Manager to confirm when new litter bins will be erected, given that it is now almost 2 years since any bins have been provided and having regard to previous commitments given to me that this issue would be resolved in March 2011?"
"To ask the Manager to arrange for a clean up of the area along the Poddle river from Wellington Lane to Templeville Road as it is in a very bad state ?"
"To ask the Manager to arrange for a road sweep in the Orwell Park/Glendown area to enhance work carried out recently by local residents?"
"To ask the Manager to provide three litter bins in the Work area. One at the bus stop on Willington Road just after the roundabout, and the other two on either side of Osprey Road at the entrance into the estate. In light of the tremendous work done by the residents association in that area and the considerable amount of money this Council saves as a result of their efforts, I feel it would send a very positive message of appreciation and support if we could oblige their request?"

That the Manager arranges for the cleansing and sweeping of the centre median and kerbsides on the new Outer Ring Road as soon as possible.
That urgent action be taken to fully reinstate areas at Bohernabreena Road following works done as part of the Boherboy Scheme, given that the area has been left in a completely unacceptable condition.
That the Manager puts in place an urgent action and implementation plan to deal with the matter of illegal horse ownership and grazing on open spaces in the Jobstown/Brookfield areas, noting that there are extreme cases of animal cruelty, major animal welfare issues and public health and safety concerns arising from this practice and the proliferation of horses in and around *address supplied.
That this Committee urges the full and immediate provision of clean-up and remedial works following the Water Mains Rehabilitation Programme in Greenhills. This Committee recognises the importance of these works and that they require major disruption, but notes its unhappiness with the number of footpaths, verges and driveways have been left in a poor state following the works.
