MOTION: Councillor J. Hannon

That urgent action be taken to fully reinstate areas at Bohernabreena Road following works done as part of the Boherboy Scheme, given that the area has been left in a completely unacceptable condition.

REPORT:

The Completion Tender Documents for the Boherboy Water Supply Scheme have been issued to six Contractors recently and the priced documents are due back by the end of April 2011. The Tender Documents will then be evaluated and a Contractor chosen and appointed by mid May 2011.This chosen Completion Contractor will hopefully be on site in June 2011 and will then start to complete all outstanding works on the Boherboy Water Supply Scheme including the permanent reinstatement of the footpath/cycle track/grass verge on the Old Mill Cabs (northern) side of Bohernabreena Road and the cycle track/grass verge on the Allenton Estate (southern) side of the Bohernabreena Road.
