QUESTION: Councillor P. Kearns

"To ask the Manager to provide three litter bins in the Work area. One at the bus stop on Willington Road just after the roundabout, and the other two on either side of Osprey Road at the entrance into the estate. In light of the tremendous work done by the residents association in that area and the considerable amount of money this Council saves as a result of their efforts, I feel it would send a very positive message of appreciation and support if we could oblige their request?"

REPLY:

The Litter Warden for the area will be requested to examine the area and make a recommendation regarding the need for litter bins at the bus stop and at the entrance to the estate.  There is currently a list of both new bin installations and bin replacements to be carried out around the County.
