"That this Committee discusses the poor quality/dangerous footpath at Springvale Estate on the Edmonstown Road – this pathway is almost level with the road and to ascertain when SDCC will be in a position to renew a commitment given on this over 3 years ago."

"That the Manager review the safety of motorists leaving Ballyroan Lodge area accessing Ballyboden Road, which is blind to the motorist entering onto a busy main road taking into account.

1. For safety reasons an exit is made at the Hillside Park end of Ballyroan Lodge.
2. A one-way system be created i.e. Entering from Ballyboden Road and exiting at Ballyroan Lodge.

"That this Committee agrees to provide guidelines to Resident Associations and interested parties with regard to the clearing, gritting and salting of Residential estates, footpaths and other public routes in order to assist in the practical movement of people and vehicles during difficult weather conditions."
