QUESTION: Councillor P. Cosgrave

"To ask the Manager what areas at Ballyroan Lodge are in South Dublin Councils control.

1. Do the green area and roadway/pathway come under South Dublin control?
2. Is the pathway at the rere of the back walls of Hillside Park owned by South Dublin County Council?

REPLY:

1.  The open space between Hillside Park houses and Ballyboden Road is in the charge of South Dublin County Council and is maintained by the Parks Department.

2.  The area of pathway immediately behind the Hillside Park houses is currently being investigated by the Development Department to determine ownership and rights of way.
