QUESTION NO. 3
QUESTION: Councillor C. Keane
"To ask the Manager to have the litter bin at the bus stop at the Knocklyon Rd end of Scholarstown Rd. replaced in its original position - it has been moved by 'messers' about fifty yards up the road to the footpath at the turn into Beverly Drive where it is out of place and unused. This is causing considerable littering at the bus stop. Please have it put back, securely, in it's original position?"
REPLY:
The Cleansing Inspector reports that the litter bin at the bus stop at the Knocklyon Road end of Scholarstown Road was removed in the interest of public safety by the the Cleansing Section due to malicious damage. It was not relocated - the litter bin at the turn into Beverly Drive is a different bin altogether.
