QUESTION: Councillor E. Coburn

"To ask the Manager to provide an update including timelines with regard to the completion of the footpath along Stocking Lane?"

REPLY:

The Roads Department intend to invite tenders for the Stocking Lane footpath / cycletrack upgrade in the NewYear. These tenders in turn must be submitted to the NRA for scrutiny, and subject to their approval and funding, (bearing in mind the current situation) works to the Scheme could commence in Q2/Q3 2011. Unfortunately it is not possible to give a more precise committment or time-line at this moment, having regard to all the circumstances.
