That this Area Committee calls on the Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly, TD and the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, Roderic O'Gorman TD to urgently address the issue of Speech and Language Therapy waiting times for children in need of such services in the Tallaght area, following referral from an Assessment of Needs and to further ensure that any vacancies in the Speech and Language Therapy team in Tallaght are filled without any further delay.

That this Area Committee calls on the Manager to write to the Minister for Transport, Eamon Ryan TD and the Road Safety Authority, in the interests of the safety of our children at play and residents in general, demanding that they provide facilities for Learner Drivers to practice Turnabout (three point turn), Reverse Parallel Parking and Reversing Exercise in RSA operated facilities rather than on the streets of built up housing estates in the Tallaght area.

Following on from my previous motion in relation to TJ Burns Cottages 10& 11 Old Bawn Road , can the council look to purchase these bungalows and return to housing stock- since the last time I raised this motion a portion of roof tiles to the back of the houses have now been removed from both houses which will affect the building stability of left too long and the back yards are just a dumping ground - neighbouring residents are negatively impacted by this neglect photos attached

On behalf of Kingswood Residents Association Can SDCC review remaining ruins in Ballymount Park of Ballymount Castle from William Parsons build in 1622 that are covered by the same thick Ivy and bushes just meters from the gatehouse, with a view of highlighting the historical value and rich history of Ballymount Park - installation of signage for the public to see and also have it added onto South Dublin County Council heritage app. Ballymount Gatehouse and Castle ruins should be exposed and be the gateway to Tallaght given it's location, history and condition

The Charles O'Toole bridge has become a regular target for vandalism with glass panels being broken on a regular basis, this poses both a cost for clean up and repair and a safety issue, can I request the design of this bridge be reviewed and a more appropriate option be installed
