To thank the Manager for his earlier agreement to modify the height and finish to stone-type, on the wall at Woodville Downs from the traffic lights at Woodies up to the slip road and for agreeing to install palisade fencing on the slip road to the South of Woodville Downs, all as part of the Outer Ring Road. Also, for acknowledging my representations on behalf of other residential estates on the Outer Ring Road who believe additional noise attenuation measures are required, by agreeing to examine any short comings in the scheme and, if necessary, to engage contractors to remedy such short comings when the contract is complete.
To ask the Manager to report on the concerns of local residents in Mount Andrew Estate, Lucan on the inconveniences caused to local residents, particularly at Mount Andrew Dale, owing to earlier and later than permitted working times on the site of the on-going development at St. Edmunds on St. Loman's Road, and that the report would include reports from relevant authorities and departments, including Planning, Environment etc.
“To ask the Manager to identify the ownership of the parcel of land at the end of the cul de sac on *details supplied, and the boundary of Firhouse Community College, and given the dangerous nature of this small parcel of land, and the fact that dumping regularly takes place at this location, if he could set out the options that are open to the Council in terms of resolving this issue, and either allowing Firhouse Community College to take land into it’s own possession, or allowing the Council to resolve the matter, and if he will make a statement on the matter?”
To ask the Manager to report on any pre-planning consultation between the developer of the lands at Coolamber, Lucan and South Dublin County Council, if any and would the Manager provide details of this consultation.
To ask the Manager, to pass on our congratulations to the Parks and Roads Departments regarding the refurbished roundabouts on the Nangor Road, Clondalkin.
To ask the Manager for a progress report on the taking-in-charge of roads and services in Mount Andrew and Liffey Valley Park Estates in Lucan. In particular could he clarify the position in regard to the proposed installation of permanent bollards in Liffey Valley Park near Liffey Crescent?
That the Manager would provide to the meeting a list of the Polling Stations used for the 2004 Local and European elections in the Lucan and Clondalkin Electoral Areas to facilitate a discussion by Members of options for additional Polling Stations, particularly in South Lucan and South West Clondalkin.
To ask the Manager to bring forward his plans for a viable Schools Transportation Plan. The lack of such School Transport is causing increased volumes of traffic on our roads, especially at school times, and is also the cause of increased safety concerns for school-going children and students?
To ask the Manager for an update on the number of new buses allocated to the Clondalkin bus lanes?
That the Manager would bring forward a report for discussion on what initial procedures are required to begin a process to establish a Town Council for Lucan. Given the significant increase in the population and needs of Lucan in recent years, that this Committee supports the establishment of the Lucan Town Council.
“To ask the Manager if in the context of the Firhouse Road Improvement Scheme, a proper pedestrian crossing is going to be established close to the entrance to Firhouse Community College on the Firhouse Road, or if an alternative site has been found for this project, if and when the project will start, and the likely time frame involved, and what access will residents in the Kilakee area who use the Ballycullen Drive onto the Firhouse Road have in terms of accessing the road while construction works are taking place, and if he will make a statement on the matter.”
“To ask the Manager to confirm that a clear commitment was given to the residents of Bolbrook Close, that when a social housing project at the top of their road was completed, that the road surface on Bolbrook Close would be completely resurfaced, when the Manager will be in a position to have this road surface re-surfaced, and if he will make a statement on the matter?"

That the Manager presents an up to date report on the present playgrounds in Clondalkin and Lucan and outlines plans for further playground development in the same two areas.

That the Manager re-examines the walls and security around Knockmitten Community Centre with a view to undertaking the following:-
a) Putting a railing on top of the stub wall in front of the building's car park so that it cannot be used as seating for drinks parties.
b) Re-organise the CCTV so that it covers both the building, the car park and surrounding areas.

That the Manager outlines all the work and development planned for the Nangor Road and the land on both sides of it (from the Outer Ring Road to Polly Hops Pub) with timescales, where possible, for the foreseeable future.
