QUESTION: Councillor E. Walsh

"To ask the Manager to outline the scheme of works that are planned for the maisonettes in Limekiln Green and to thank the Manager for the painting that was carried out recently?"

REPLY:

It is intended to extensively refurbish the Limekiln maisonettes in respect of which work has already commenced.

The following is a list of the improvements that will be made to the   maisonettes :-

1.  Fitting of thermal break double glazed alluminium windows.

2.  Fitting of high performance front and rear door frames.

3.  Fitting of fire escapes.

4.  Fitting of replacement kitchens

5.  Some Internal painting.

6.  Landscaping of front and rear gardens ( and inclusion in annual grass cutting programme )
