QUESTION No. 3
QUESTION: Councillor E. Walsh
"To ask the Manager to examine the gateway between house no 142 and 143 Limekiln Green to see if they can be locked as there is anti social activity in the laneway and there is constant littering with late night drinking and the dumping of old furniture?"
REPLY:
The laneway between 142 and 143 Limekiln Green has been inspected by the Allocations Support Officer for this area. As the laneway gate is set back 20 feet from the entrance and youths are congregating at this entrance, the Allocations Support Unit is investigating the possibility of moving the gate to the entrance and mounting railings on the garden walls on each side in order to effectively deal with the current anti-social behaviour. Quotations are currently being sought for this work.
