That the Manager presents a report on the sewage overflow in Wheatfield Crescent in summer 2006, its cause (blockage in Liscarne?) and on what is being done to ensure that this won't happen yet again .
That the Manager would report on the proposal to extend the Earlsfort Residents Centre and South Dublin County Council's support for a Grant Application for this project to the Community Department by the Earlsfort Residents Association. That this Committee supports this project and the endeavours of the Earlsfort Residents Association.
Following the passing of my Motion at the June 2006 Planning Department Meeting including a survey of Foxborough Estate to access the outstanding works required to complete the boundary walls in Foxborough Estate, Lucan to a proper standard of finish, and the Manager's Report to that meeting that included details of condition No. 13 of Planning Permission S94A/0022 requiring:
“That screen walls in block or similar durable materials not less than 2 metres high, suitably capped and rendered, be provided at the necessary locations so as to screen rear gardens from public view. The specific locations and extent of walling must be fully discussed and agreed with the County Council before construction. Timber fencing is not acceptable.”
That the Manager would now set out full details of all such works to be completed throughout Foxborough Estate and the agreed time-scale for these works.
