That the Manager would agree to coordinate with all relevant departments and all relevant authorities, the regular cleaning of Newcastle Village. In recent times, many Local Residents in Newcastle have to endure most untidy road and footpath surfaces which are in urgent need of immediate and regular cleaning.

That this Committee thanks the Housing Department for providing a very informative site visit to the recently completed section of the Balgaddy Development, compliments the County Architect and the Department for the imaginative overall design, particularly of the enclosed cobblestone surfaced open area.  Can the Manager consider the installation of a small amount of playground equipment on the open space, following consultation with the new residents?
