"To ask the Manager for a progress report on the traffic calming proposals for Fernhill Estate?"
REPLY:
In response to a large number of requests for traffic calming measures throughout the Council’s administrative area the Council’s Transportation Strategic Policy Committee at its meeting on the 11th May 2006 adopted a new Traffic Calming programme comprising of four schemes in each of the Council’s five electoral areas. The selection of each individual scheme will be made by the relevant
Fernhill Estate is on the traffic calming request list for the Terenure/Rathfarnham electoral area.
Consideration of further locations for traffic calming purposes will be included on the Terenure/Rathfarnham Agenda for the October meeting.
