"That this Committee discuss the Rathfarnham QBC adjacent to Beaufort Downs estate i.e the removal of the wall from front of Beaufort Downs estate. Residents are totally oppossed to this proposal. That this Committee recommends that an alternative be agreed e.g. a left lane priority filter from traffic lights at Nutgrove Ave/Grange Rd i.e. adjacent to car park -  The current proposal & destruction of so many trees is not warranted for the construction of less than 90mtrs. of bus lane and minimal (if any?) saving in time for bus journey."

That this Area Committee warmly welcomes and supports proposals by Foróige to expand youth services in the Lucan and Palmerstown areas including proposals to open a new Café at Palmerstown Community Sports Hall (in conjunction with both Co. Dublin VEC and Pobalscoil Iosolde) and plans also to open a new Youth Club at Lucan Sports & Leisure Centre at Griffeen Valley Park. This Area Committee furthermore acknowledges the support given to date by the Community Services Department to Foróige including meeting with the organisation’s development officer in July and requests the Department to continue supporting these plans in whatever way possible.

That the Manager report on the Council’s policy on businesses and organisations breaking litter laws by erecting illegal signs on grass verges, poles etc around the county and detail how many fines have been issued and also what is the collection rate from same.  It is a particular problem around Clondalkin Village.
