"That the Manager give a report as to why the entrance road up the hill to Hermitage View has not been taken in hand and what efforts are being made to take this road into Council ownership."
"That the Manager examine, in light of recent accidents and continuous speeding along Edmondstown road and particularly in the vicinity of the Merry Ploughboy Public House, that the Council immediately sets about providing traffic calming measures north and south of this public house, taking account of road curvature and so on and that signage also be addressed."
"That this Council erect nameplates to give directions to the houses on the Grange Road that are accessed from Hermitage View. The house numbers start at 217 Grange Road upwards. Also could a nameplate be erected on the new wall to indicate the name of the estate."
"That this Committee discusses once again the problem with the relocated bus stop at Marian Road – adjacent to Rosemount Shopping centre; the area needs (a) pull in for bus – it is quiet dangerous as it is at present (b) it badly needs a bus shelter and seat– this is a particularly windy area and many elderly people use this stop and if the bus stop has to be moved up about 100 mtrs to achieve this. I have requested this previously – has there been any response from Dublin Bus on same?"
"That the Manager take action to regularise the laneway linking Greenacre Court to Knocklyon Grove. It is being used by youths on scrambler motorbikes which are posing a safety hazard to residents particularly children and the elderly."
