QUESTION: Councillor C. Brophy

"To ask the Manager to provide car-park markings in the newly finished car-park at the Perrystown Manor estate Community Centre?"

REPLY:

The car park in question serves Perrystown Community Centre as well as the adjacent Greentrees Park. In association with the Community Services Department, provision was made in the Parks Department’s 2008 Annual Works Programme to re surface the car park and provide necessary drainage works and ramps to control vehicle speed. These works were carried out late last year.  The Parks Department is making arrangements with the Community Services Department to provide car park markings and it is expected that this work will be completed shortly.
