MOTION NO. 11

MOTION: Councillor C. Keane

"That this Committee discusses once again the problem with the relocated bus stop at Marian Road – adjacent to Rosemount Shopping centre; the area needs (a) pull in for bus – it is quiet dangerous as it is at present (b) it badly needs a bus shelter and seat– this is a particularly windy area and many elderly people use this stop and if the bus stop has to be moved up about 100 mtrs to achieve this. I have requested this previously – has there been any response from Dublin Bus on same?"

REPORT:

We are arranging a meeting on site with Dublin Bus to discuss the issues raised in the motion. We shall report back on our findings in due course.
