QUESTION: Councillor E. Walsh

"To ask the Manager to arrange for the reinstatement of grass verge in Limekiln Green at the corner next to Masonets?"

REPLY:

This roadside grass margin has been inspected by the Parks Department and is clearly being damaged by illegal parking of vehicles.  There are double yellow lines on the roadside in the immediate vicinity of the damaged area.  The matter of the illegal parking, measures and reinstatement of the grass margin will be further examined in conjunction with the Council’s Roads Department. The matter of illegal parking on this grass verge has been referred to the Gardai for their attention.
