"To ask the Manager what plans are in place to improve footpath access along the Kiltipper Road area, particularly on the road outside the residential area of Ellensborough, where there is no footpath?"

"To ask the Manager, to update the Committee on progress made in relation to traffic calming including possible pedestrian crossing and traffic lights at the Citywise project on the Fortunestown Way as proposed at a deputation on 26th/April/2006 and can he make a statement on the matter?"

"To ask the Manager to explain what difficulties were present to result in the large scale resurfacing works that recently took place on the northern section of the Belgard Road at Tallaght Garda station and the Abberley Court etc and to outline the total cost of these works?"

"To ask the Manager to have arranged a repair review of the footpaths in the Glenview Lawns/Park area in view of a number of recent accidents there and will the Manager note that the condition of these footpaths is causing concern to a large number of residents?"

"To ask the Manager to have arranged the extension of the footpath at *details supplied, as this footpath needs to be extended for approximately forty feet and such an extension would ensure the safety of pedestrians from the nearby Schools and adjacent estates?"

"To ask the Manager to have arranged the repair of light numbers 123 & 124 at the Greenhills Road extension (beside the bridge) as a matter of urgency and will the Manager note that a sequence of muggings have occurred at this location in recent weeks?"

“To ask the Manager if a street light in the cul de sac of Daletree View in Ballycullen could be established as soon as possible, and if he will make a statement on the matter?”

“To ask the Manager if, in the context of the 2007/2008 Roads Estimate, grants will be provided for Sundale Walk, Parade, and Lawn, as a means of reducing the serious problem of speeding in this area, given the fact that the main road which adjoins the three roads mentioned above, has obtained traffic calming measures in recent years, and if he will make a statement on the matter?”

“To ask the Manager if he would immediately liaise with Rathfarnham and Tallaght Garda Stations in connection with the problem concerning the pedestrian crossing on Killininny Road, Ballycullen, namely the fact that quite a large number of cars are not stopping as pedestrians cross the road, if he could outline what measures if any, the Roads Department could consider to highlight the importance of this pedestrian crossing on what is a very dangerous road where cars regularly speed, and if other speeding restriction measures can be put on this road close to the pedestrian crossing, and if he will make a statement on the matter?”

"That the Roads Department immediately provide road name signs for Jobstown Road, Cheeverstown Road, Fortunestown Way and Fortunestown Lane as agreed three times during the course of Tallaght area committee meetings over the past two years."

"That this Committee calls on the Manager to present a report concerning the current status of a Planning Registration Application, SDQU05A, in the name of Roadstone Quarry and that the views and concerns of local residents and Newlands Golf Club be considered in full before a decision on this application is taken, that the matter come before the next meeting of South Dublin County Council as a headed item and that the matter be discussed."

"That this committee asks the Manager to review the sale of valuable land in the Jobstown Park area for private development and requests that he approaches the Department of Justice to consider purchasing the site in question for the provision of a much needed additional Garda Station for Tallaght as clearly identified as a specific and absolute need identified in both the West Tallaght Study (2003) and the RAPID Plan for West Tallaght (2002)."
