Motions
That the Chief Executive organises a meeting with DLR Representatives in relation to the Marlay Park Concerts and the difficulties SDCC residents have while the concerts are ongoing, especially the Grangebrook and Moyville Estates.
That the Chief Executive write to the Department of Education highlighting the lack of resources and funding in the Firhouse Educate Together National School. The school needs more resources, to include Special Education Teachers, Special Needs Assistants and Inclusion Support Assistants, as there are between 2 and 8 children with complex additional needs in every mainstream class, and the overall standard of literacy and maths is dropping for all children in the school. The Board of Management put a block on enrolling pupils into the school during the 2019-2020 school year pending additional resources
That this Committee write to the Department of Education to request immediate action to redress the shortfall of additional needs support in the schools within these LEAs, including the urgent provision of multi-disciplinary teams and a transparent consultation with parents on the appropriate model going forward.

Tree Maintenance Programme 2020-2022
Motions
That the Chief Executive install three public bins into Greenhills Park early in the New Year.
This park is well utilised by the local community with people enjoying the public green space to walk their dog, to play football and run. The community works hard at ensuring litter is picked up regularly and I also note the hard work of SDCC staff and the work they do within the park.
The community cannot understand why public bins are not provided for in this green space. We want to encourage park users to be responsible with their rubbish and providing a few public bins would do just that.
We would also ask the Chief Executive to consider providing belly bins and/or segregated bins to allow for the separation of recyclable and general waste.
MOTION FALLS
To ask SDCC for an explanation for the removal of the kissing gate between Moyville and Whitechurch Estates and for SDCC to provide details on their proposals for what will replace the gate.
That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive to landscape and improve the appearance of the roundabout outside Firhouse Educate Together.
That in respect of the area covered by this Committee, the Chief Executive provide an updated tree maintenance schedule with estimates of when the delayed works will actually be carried out.

Motions
That the Chief Executive arrange the urgent inspection and repair of the footpath and public lighting on Whitechurch Road, Rathfarnham, in particular from Willbrook Lawn to the funeral home, as the area is so uneven and poorly lit, as to constitute a dangerous hazard to members of the public, and has already been the cause of an accident.
That SDCC implement a motion passed in my name in 2019 which agreed that footpaths in Orlagh Park and Knockfield Manor would be upgraded and repaired in tandem with Beverly Estate. Works have been completed in Beverly yet none have taken place in Orlagh Park and Knockfield Manor
