"That the Manager state if it is his intention to designate sites for Bonfires at Halloween week end and if so to provide a list and if there is no list how does he intend to supervise same ."

"That the Manager give a report on the open space at the entrance to Park Avenue Grange Road (opposite the houses on Park Avenue).  The bollards there are attracting large groups of teenage drinkers every weekend and the residents are suffering from Sunday morning excesses of anti-social behaviour - graffiti, cars damaged, broken bottles and shouting and loud noises.  Could you please examine this area to see what needs to be done - landscaping, planting and/or other work that would restore peace and quite in the area. "

"That the Manager present a report to the committee with regard to progress being made on the formal garden in Rathfarnham Castle  and to outline the expenditure to date  and expected  timescales for completion."

"That the Manager furnish a report on any action which he proposes to take to address the poor and unsightly condition of landmark sructures close to and adjacent to Main Street, Rathfarnham as these structures if properly maintained or even cleaned could enhance the visual amenity of the area."

 

"That the Manager carry out the necessary improvements on Templeville -Wainsfort Roundabout which are outstanding for sometime and that the Manager take note that the Roundabout is now in a very unsatisfactory condition."

"To ask the Barrow Man operating on Walkinstown Roundabout to include the first section of the laneway off St. Peter's Road (opposite the Cherrytree Pub) on his rounds to deal with the constant accumulation of glass and debris at this location?"

"To ask the Manager to clarify the situation in relation to the blocked drain from 185 to 195 Templeville Road which has at each occurance in the past  been cleared by the Council and which the Council now state is the responsibility of the residents - but on the latest occasion in July  2006 it was cleared by the Council as it was considered an environmental health issue.  The residents understand that the blockage occurs due to a fault in the initial construction of the drain, which would have been inspected by the Council at the time.  Could the Manager advise the residents how this problem can be put right once and for all and to advise and consult with the residents to resolve the problem?"

"That the meeting discuss, with detailed guidance from the Manager, the practicalities and implications of disallowing the displaying of political posters during election times in the Butterfield area."

"That the Manager arrange for a clean-up to be done at the Owendoher River adjacent to Woodview Cottages and especially the ditch and banks of the river at this location."

"That the Manager take on board the concerns of the Cherryfield Residents Association in relation to the ongoing dumping and fly-tipping in the laneways in Beechfield/Cherryfield, particularly the laneway from Beechfield Road to Cromwellsfort Road and will he devise a scheme to carry out clean-ups and resurfacing of all the laneways in the area, on a phased basis over the remainder of the term of the current Council, and will he consult with the members of the Cherryfield Residents Association in the next month to devise this plan and work out the implementation of the plan, so that the residents can reclaim their laneways for this own convenience."

"In commending the Manager on the work in combating and removing graffitti as per my motion in June, that the Manager present a report to the meeting on progress to date and in particular what contacts the Manager has had with the Gardai on this matter and whether a report is available from the Gardai also."

"That the Manager report on the serious environmental issues arising from the overdevelopment of the yard at the rear of Muckross Avenue, Muckross Green and Rockfield Avenue - noise of trucks accessing yard through narrow laneway, diesel fumes from trucks parked waiting to access laneway polluting the air, building materials blowing into houses and gardens and business being conducted outside of business hours and on a Saturday, and to state what action the Council proposes to take to rectify this situation.
