"To ask the Manager to liaise with the Whitechurch Green Initiative Group (details supplied) who are endeavouring to promote environmental issues in their community in Whitechurch?"

"That the Manager state what the responsibilities of the Council's Parks Department and the Council's Dog Warden are in relation to the control of unleashed and unmuzzled dogs in St. Enda's Park and to state if the final responsibility for uncontrolled dogs rests with the owners of the dogs or with the Council."

"That the Council take long overdue action in dealing immediately with the splurge in graffiti in the Terenure - Rathfarnham Ward and that the manager explain why NO graffiti has been removed from public places and that a full discussion take place on the matter."

"That the Manager take on board the views of local residents in relation to the refurbishment of the flat complex at Pearse Brothers/Palmer Park particularly in the context of  arrangements for existing tenants during any refurbishment."

"That this committee discusses - with the aid of an informed report - the upgrading of apartments in Pearse Bros. Park now that the submissions on the Ballyboden Village Plan have been received and evaluated, as the work must be coordinated with the major developments in the area under the Ballyboden Village plan. I first raised this issue in 2001."

"That this area committee discuss the standards of open space maintenance in the Rathfarnham-Terenure Ward."

"That the Manager examine the species of trees planted in Greenhills Estate, many of which have been planted in close proximity to ESB power lines and have been pruned to accommodate the power lines, and to the road especially on the bus routes and to state, whether over time these trees could be replaced with more suitable species to present a more uniformed appearance and improve the visual impact."

"That pending the outcome of the inaugural County Farmer's Market at Tallaght, the Council begins investigating the possibility and appropriateness of locating a Farmer's Market at Rathfarnham, either in the grounds of the Castle, or in the Village itself, on designated dates, and to be run on designated days of the year."
