QUESTION: Councillor E. Walsh

"To ask the Manager for a progress report on the affordable content of the development at rear of St. Peter's School?"

REPLY:

Planning Permission was granted by the Council to Promster Development Ltd for 30 units at the above location on 8/12/2005.

Subsequently, a third party lodged an appeal against this decision on 22/12/2005 and the decision of An Bord Pleanala is awaited.

In the event of An Bord Pleanala making a decision to grant permission for the above proposed development the Council will enter into negotiations with the developer in relation to his requirements for compliance with Part V of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended).
