Questions
"To ask the Chief Executive to have lighting installed on the public pathway leading from Pairc Mhuire to Main St. opposite Mill Lane, Saggart. Many residents of Pairc Mhuire, some elderly, use this path and it can be intimidating after dark?"
"To ask the Chief Executive if consideration could be given to have ramps installed in Russell Place? Due to the high volume of traffic at peak times, Russell Place is being used as a short cut rat run to get from the Jobstown Road to Fortunestown Way and vice versa thereby avoiding the traffic lights. Vehicles are driving through at high speed and residents have lost their patience with it?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to indicate if there is an intention to complete the footpath repairs in the Castle Park area, paying particular attention to the paths leading from the entrance to Castle Park at the Castletymon junction end to St. Aengus Parish Church?"
"To ask the Chief Executive if the Council can give a commitment that damaged road signs within estates be replaced in a short time frame. A lot of road signs within estates have been damaged and defaced and in some cases removed. In estates such as Russell, Kilmartin, and Rossfield some have disappeared altogether. It is very important that these estates should have pride in their areas and street names give them a sense of ownership and identity, and do not feel neglected. Even a damaged one such as Russell Lane should be replaced?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to confirm when he now expects completion of all works on the Cycle Lane from Tallaght Village and will he present a detailed report on works thus far and also detail actions taken to deal with the negative image created by aspects of the project?"
"That this Committee asks the Chief Executive to have the sign for Killinarden on the N81 spelled properly. The sign says Killinardan. Residents have contacted SDCC and asked for this to be fixed and have not got any response, can this sign be fixed as soon as possible?"

Motions
That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive to install a second ramp on the old Naas Road outside the residential properties. Since the installation of a ramp on the old Naas Road, planning permission has been granted for Keenan refrigeration to develop their site, which will see an increase in traffic and HGV's.
That this Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to commence immediately a programme of Graffiti removal from public utility boxes, signposts, lampposts and walls in the Tallaght area, paying particular attention to the area along the Old Tallaght Road, from the Glenview Roundabout to the rear walls of Glenview Park opposite the Castletymon Junction, along Main Road and Main Street.
That this Committee supports the opening up of the road through Tallaght village at IT Tallaght. Businesses in the village are struggling to attract customers to the village, I believe a one way system out of the village would help with traffic flow and attract more people in to the village area. We should be doing more to help attract more people in to the village. Traffic around the retail park can be very heavy with cars using this as a short cut to the Belgard Road.

Motions
That this Area Committee provide more signs on roads that lead into Tallaght. We have a sign coming off the Glenview roundabout with Tallaght on it, I believe we should have more of these signs on different roads into Tallaght and on the way out. There could be an option for the signs to be sponsored by business so there is no cost to the Council.

"To ask the Chief Executive, in relation to a positive reply previously given, to make a further report regarding the Playground for Tymon Park (Tymon North side) and to indicate if (A) the Tender has gone out yet and (B) a time frame for construction to commence. Will he further comment if it is intended to commence any works immediately in preparation for construction of the Playground?"
"To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the relocation of bottle banks currently situated on Avonbeg Road, Tallaght. This facility has been the subject of numerous representations. The Area Committee was recently advised that the facility would be relocated early in 2016, although no final location had been agreed. At least two representations have been made regarding dumping at the site since December 2015?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to present an update in respect of plans for the provision of the proposed Pavilion at Dodder Valley Park, Old Bawn and in reporting will he also detail any contact he has had with Old Bawn Residents Association, Parkwood Residents Association and other interests regarding concerns expressed in respect of the project?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to give an update on the installation of new gaelic posts for the pitch at the Avonbeg end of Dodder Valley currently used by Scoil Santain? The current posts have been "adapted" due to their unsuitability and are not up to the required standard?"

That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive to investigate intrusions by stolen cars on to the footpaths that traverse Whitestown Stream adjacent to Dromcarra and Bawnlea Estate as it is becoming increasingly dangerous for pedestrians to use this space and creating an additional cost to the Council on the cleanup so after the cars are burnt out on the paths and the open spaces in the area. That this Committee further calls on the Chief Executive to provide a permanent solution to stopping access to this area by vehicles.
That this Tallaght Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to have the Parks Department look at the possibility of giving over the responsibility of opening and closing the gates at Jobstown playground to Jobstown Estate Management.
That this Committee asks the Chief Executive to have the field at the rear of the Wood in Millbrook Lawns treated for vermin infestation. Rats have been reported on several occasions in the area in recent times.
That this Tallaght Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to take action to progress the delivery of the long promised Playground at Tymon Park, Tallaght, appreciating the view of the community, that work on the Playground should not be further delayed and in responding to the Motion will the Chief Executive please detail the new schedule now being followed.
Environment
Questions
"To ask the Chief Executive to make a report regarding the removal of General Election posters in the Tallaght area in respect of compliance with the Electoral (Amendment) (No.2) Act 2009 and to comment on other posters of a political nature that are still erected in the Tallaght area that contravene the Litter Pollution Act 1997, and to outline what action he intends to take to have them removed?"
"To ask the Chief Executive is there anything that can be done for residents of estates who through some reason or other have accumulated huge numbers of black bags and it would seem have no bin collection because they can't afford it. This is a serious problem and causing infestation. Can there be some arrangement for these people like a large skip left in the estate for a short period of time?"
