That this Committee asks the Chief Executive to confirm plans for a Flag Raising Ceremony at Civic Headquarters in Tallaght as part of the 1916 Celebrations.

REPORT:

As part of South Dublin County Council's Centenary Programme a special flag raising ceremony with the Irish Defence Forces will take place outside County Hall prior to the Council Meeting due to take place on the 11th April 2016 to mark the centenary of the 1916 Rising.
