To ask the Manager to present a detailed report of the planning history of the developments at Esker Place, Esker Lawns, Lucan. Would the Manager please include details of his intentions following works carried out this week up to and including today, Thursday 7th September 2006.

To ask the Manager to agree to write to the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform to ask the Minister what new plans he will introduce to resolve the growing Anti-Social Behaviour issues throughout the communities in Lucan, Clondalkin and Palmerstown.

To ask the Manager for an updated report on the Council's project to promote the development of a hotel, golf clubhouse and private housing at Grange Castle?

To ask the Manager to report in detail on all planning and enforcement issues in the last twelve months relating to Weston Aerodrome, Lucan.

To ask the Manager if he will indicate the extent of the Council's land bank in the area of Lucan South bounded by Newcastle Road/ Outer Ring Road (on the west and east), and the Railway Line and Griffeen Avenue (on the south and north) and if the Council has any plans for those lands?

To ask the Manager to report in detail on efforts being made to introduce park and ride facilities in the Lucan, Clondalkin and Palmerstown areas that may be of great assistance in removing car traffic from our roads, particularly at peak traffic times, given the increasing and chronic traffic gridlock on our roads?

To ask the Manager for an updated report on the completion of works required for the taking-in-charge of Newcastle Manor Estate, and if he can advise on which services will be the responsibility of the Council once the estate is taken in charge?

That the Manager would agree to contact Dublin Bus as a matter of great urgency, for a full and detailed report of what improved routes, and schedules are planned in the immediate future to serve the Lucan, Clondalkin and Palmerstown areas, including Adamstown, to provide residents with more transport options given the chronic and increasing traffic congestion being experienced on our roads on a daily basis as a result of being a car dependent society.

To ask the Manager if suitable railings can be placed at the boundary of Glenfield Estate and Coldcut Road, for safety purposes?

To ask the Manager if he will provide an updated report on information available to the Council on plans for LUAS and Metro in the Palmerstown/Lucan/Clondalkin areas and if he will  ask RPA officials to attend a meeting of the Lucan/Clondalkin Area Committee to discuss their plans and possible routes with Councillors?

To ask the Manager if he will provide a report on the manner in which a vote/plebiscite of registered electors under Section 180 of the Planning and Development Act should be organised and overseen for it to be valid for the Council to act upon the result in accordance with the Section of the Act concerned?

That the Lucan/Clondalkin Area Committee congratulates the Manager on the establishment of the Education Bursary scheme in co-operation with the Institute of Technology Tallaght, welcomes the inclusion of three Clondalkin second level schools in the scheme, and asks the Manager for an updated report on the implementation of the scheme.
