That the Manager reports upon the current situation with relation to the land within the Council’s ownership that adjoins Lucan Educate Together National School with specific reference to the needs of the school in terms of future land requirements and traffic safety.

That the Manager would write to Dublin Bus and the Gardaí to acknowledge with sincere thanks every effort that Dublin Bus and the Gardaí are making to provide continuing bus service to all local areas, despite the anti-social behavior and criminal activities that are taking place and that figures demonstrate are on the increase, including damages to buses, window breakages etc. Such anti-social and criminal activities are putting bus services at risk owing to the serious threat to the safety of bus drivers and passengers alike.

That a report be brought to this Committee regarding the 'open air salesroom' for cars currently on display at New Road, Knockmeenagh Road and St Brigids Road, Clondalkin and a further site at Boot Road (Island in the middle of the road).

That the Lucan/Clondalkin Area Committee requests the Manager to write to An Post seeking a meeting of Council officials and elected members with An Post Senior Management to discuss the plans of An Post to ensure that adequate Post Office and postal services are provided in the Lucan area, having regard to the ongoing residential developments at Adamstown and elsewhere in Lucan.
