Part 8 Report Rowlagh Traffic Calming Scheme
To ask the Manager to bring forward a comprehensive Report for discussion, including a slide presentation, on the Lucan Village Design Statement, and to report on all items planned including the time-scale for these works?
Following my repeated representations through Corporate Services, to ask the Manager to agree to contact Dublin Bus to seek maximum numbers of buses for the Lucan, Palmerstown and Clondalkin areas, following the approval of the additional one hundred buses for Dublin Bus.
To ask the Manager to provide an up-to-date report on the site immediately adjacent to and west of Mt. Bellew Way, south of Willsbrook Road and north of Lucan Educate Together School?
To ask the Manager to present a report for discussion on the train services scheduled to come on stream as part of the Adamstown Development, including the detail of the proposed time-schedules as requested from the Rail Authorities?
To ask the Manager to report in detail on all aspects of the on-going development of Clubhouse facilities for Esker Celtic Football Club at Ballyowen Park, Lucan. The prolonged delays in the completion of this development is the cause of serious upset and inconvenience to Esker Celtic Football Club and the local Community as it is now approximately one year since the commencement of the development, and today the building remains incomplete?
To ask the Manager to agree to write to the Rail Procurement Agency and request information on what precise plans are being proposed to serve Lucan, Palmerstown and Clondalkin with Luas and Metro and if the RPA would agree to make such a presentation to the Lucan/Clondalkin Area Committee at the nearest opportunity?
To thank the Manager for his earlier agreement to modify the height and finish to stone-type, on the wall at Woodville Downs from the traffic lights at Woodies up to the slip road and for agreeing to install palisade fencing on the slip road to the South of Woodville Downs, all as part of the Outer Ring Road. Also, for acknowledging my representations on behalf of other residential estates on the Outer Ring Road who believe additional noise attenuation measures are required, by agreeing to examine any short comings in the scheme and, if necessary, to engage contractors to remedy such short comings when the contract is complete.
To ask the Manager to report on the concerns of local residents in Mount Andrew Estate, Lucan on the inconveniences caused to local residents, particularly at Mount Andrew Dale, owing to earlier and later than permitted working times on the site of the on-going development at St. Edmunds on St. Loman's Road, and that the report would include reports from relevant authorities and departments, including Planning, Environment etc.
“To ask the Manager to identify the ownership of the parcel of land at the end of the cul de sac on *details supplied, and the boundary of Firhouse Community College, and given the dangerous nature of this small parcel of land, and the fact that dumping regularly takes place at this location, if he could set out the options that are open to the Council in terms of resolving this issue, and either allowing Firhouse Community College to take land into it’s own possession, or allowing the Council to resolve the matter, and if he will make a statement on the matter?”
