MOTION NO. 2

MOTION: Councillor C. Jones

This Committee calls for the redesign of the bollards at the green space between Allenton Gardens and Allenton Avenue in order to prevent their removal by vandals.

REPORT:

The bollards in question have been installed by the Council’s Contractor on 3 separate occasions and shortly thereafter have been removed.

The Council are now examining alternative measures to prevent traffic traversing this open space.
