This Committee, in view of the concern in many communities,calls on the Manager to give an up to date report on the roll out of CCTV in this Committee area focusing on the obvious delay and measures the various agencies including this Council are taking to resolve this problem.
That the Manager outline as a result of the passing of this years Council Budget what work will be carried out to finish Templeogue House and that this Committee calls on the Manager to ensure funds are provided this year to finish the work and allow the community to use this much needed facility.

This Committee, concerned at the length of time and the obvious upset being caused to Council tenants living in *Details Supplied from a leak above their home, calls on the Manager to carry out an investigation into the issues surrounding this problem, giving a detailed report outlining the amount of time, complaints logged, and on site visits in relation to this property and will the Manager outline in the report when actual works will begin to resolve the water accumulation and reinstate the property to a more acceptable condition for the family concerned.
This Committee calls on the Manager to give a report outlining the areas effected by non bin collections in the County after the recent bad weather.
To ask the Manager in view of the significant cuts in Public Service workers and Emergency Service workers, the Government also announced in the recent budget a 10% cut in local authority funding for fire and emergency services, can the Manager in conjunction with the Fire Service, give a report on when this cut will be introduced and how this particular cut combined with the jobs replacement moratorium is and will effect the roll out of emergency services for residents living in this Local Authority area?

To ask the Manager to outline what measures are being proposed to address and eliminate the serious litter problems in our parks, in particular at Griffeen Valley Park in Lucan, where there has been significant local concern in recent months regarding litter problems? Information provided at the recent Annual Budget Meeting stated that this local authority expends approximately €0.7m per annum on litter-picking in our parks. Some of this money could be better spent on measures to prevent littering.

To ask the Manager to outline what criteria were considered when assessing the appropriateness of the large directional signage recently installed next to Lucan Methodist Church at the approach to the traffic lights at Courtney’s pub; in particular given that Lucan Village is designated a Architectural Conservation Area and also noting that the installation of signage of this scale would seem to go against the recommendations of the Lucan Village Design Statement; and to further ask if the Council’s Heritage Officer was consulted on this matter.
"To ask the Manager to arrange for the removal of graffiti, abusing a Community Garda, at the entrance pillars to Tymon Park, at the St Aongus entrance and to remove the general graffitti on the entrance pillars of Bancroft Park, at the Bancroft Road entrance and to note the negative impact that this graffiti has on residents and visitors alike and to make a statement on it?"

That this Committee agrees to write to the Permanent TSB Bank urging it to keep its branch in Main Street, Clondalkin open rather than merging it with the branch in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre.
