That this Council calls on the Government to abolish the Universal Social Charge as it is an unfair and regressive tax which forces a disproportionate burden on those who can least afford it.
That the Manager reaffirms his commitment to the Public Representatives of SDCC that a consultative approach is employed regarding all interests of Public concern including those deemed sensitive.
To ask the Manger for an updated report on the possible need for traffic calming in Glenaulin Green, Palmerstown?
To ask the Manager to examine options to slow down speeding cars along Knockmeenagh Road and Lane?
To ask the Manager to provide an update on the current status of actions taken by this Council under the Derelict Sites Acts in relation to the site at Coolamber House, Lock Road, noting that the site remains in a derelict state as defined in Section 3 of the Act and that efforts by the landowner to prevent access to the site have not been adequate and have failed to prevent trespassing?
To ask the Manager why the tree was removed from (address supplied), Palmerstown and if there are any plans to replace this tree?
