To ask the Manager to confirm that the piece of land at the corner of St John's Road and St John's Wood and beside the pedestrian gap is in fact in Council ownership? Previously, the Council has informed the residents group that the land is in private ownership. However, can it be confirmed, as per information supplied by the treasurer of the residents group that the land was in fact transferred to the ownership of the Council in September 2003? Full details of the transfer have been supplied to the Manager.

A resident reports an upsurge in dog ownership there and asks that signs could be put up in relation to the issue of cleaning up after dogs, the wearing of muzzles, the necessity of having dogs on leads etc. Also could the dog warden service be more proactive in the enforcement of the law in this regard.

That this Committee request the Manager to investigate traffic calming measures on St. Patrick's Road, particularly around the shops area.
That the Manager provides an updated report on the situation with regard to the issue of trading from the street in Main Street, Clondalkin. The latest items to be suspended from the shutters and displayed outdoors for sale are toilet seats and bathroom mats. These added to the large array of ladies clothing, hula hoops and a multiplicity of other items sway in the wind above the bales of toilet roll and washing powder. The Easter eggs will no doubt be in situ on the pavement before the date of this meeting and all presided over by shopkeepers on seats on the public pavement. Is all this in accordance with regulations and if so can it be explained to me again please.
