To ask the Chief Executive for a report on homelessness in the county detailing; the number of households presenting as homeless each month since the start of 2015; the accumulative total number of households listed as homeless at the end of each month since the start of the year; the accumulative total number of households from the SDCC housing list in emergency accommodation at the end of each month since the start of the year; the accumulative total number of households from the SDCC list on the waiting list for emergency accommodation at the end of each month since the start of the year; and for each of these categories to be broken down by single personal households and households with children and the total number of children for each category?
To ask the Chief Executive to provide a report detailing the total number of housing allocations made per month since the start of the year broken down by list (CBL, priority transfer, transfer and homeless priority) and by type (council, AHB, RAS, HAP, leasing)?
"That the Chief Executive place one or two rubbish bins at the new playground in Ballycragh Park, as there the litter is taking away from the playground and the park."
That this Council, in the absence of current agreed protocols outside of normal planning practice, for the naming of areas of significance including but not restricted to, parks, buildings, plazas, streets and bridges agrees to invoke such a protocol incorporating a public consultation process for any such place or area of significance in the future.
That SDCC ask the Government and the relevant minister to ensure that
1) There are sufficient ASD unit places to meet demand as of September 2015,
2) That special education cuts in relation to resource hours are repealed, that a truly inclusive accessible education provided locally is planned for.
3) That all schools in the development plan going forward are to compelled to include ASD classes as part of the planning process,
3) That schools who are NOT planning any current extensions are retro-fitted with ASD Units to ensure sufficient places to meet demand locally.
4) That an ASD pre-school is built immediately in SDCC to provide local places for children with autism.
5) That legislation or similar mechanism is put in place to compel board of managements of schools to build and open ASD classes when approached by the DES and NCSE and when they themselves identify the need for same
